Pseudo-plastic

When the shearing force increases less than proportionally at higher velocity gradients, the effect is known as shear thinning and under these conditions, the fluid becomes thinner due to the influence of the movement. Such fluids are known as pseudoplastics; examples are paint, shampoo and toothpaste.
